My program

Joe came I to the kitchen tonight as I cooked dinner and just stood there.   He didn’t say much for awhile.   In time he asked how his program was doing and what would happen to it.   I reassured him that it was shut down and everyone was home and doing okay.  

In time he told me if he had to go somewhere else he would.   He spends the day watching us and watching what we do while also watching the news constantly.   It is hard to know what is happening in his head.   It is hard for him to get his thoughts out as well.  

We talked and eventually he understood that his program is shut down but I am getting calls twice a week to check in on not only him but also our whole family.   I let him know that when things go back to normal he will go back to his program.    After hovering around for awhile, he eventually said so “I’ll go back”.   You’ll go back.   “Oh, okay, good”.
