Joy in Pandemic

This weekend we celebrated Palm Sunday.   We had Mass live-streamed last night and this morning followed by passing out Palms in the parking lot.  

After Mass on Saturday we went out with no idea of how many people would be there.   You can’t imagine our surprise to come out to a parking lot full of cars and a police officer telling us he re-routed traffic to get more cars off the street.  

This morning was even more cars.   We counted over a hundred cars as spent the time getting a few seconds to speak to you and see your faces.   It has been so long.   There were cars full of families some with college kids and some with our littles.  We have missed you so much.   You can imagine the joy of being community without being together.
