I know you need help

I know you need help

Today was a really busy day. It was great but busy. We had registration and saw a bunch of our kids and families. It’s amazing to see them but then you realize the change over the past year and it makes you think.

Later we had our first multi church YNIA teen service group meeting. Again, just so awesome to see so many teens in one place. There was so much conversation across the parishes. The seemed to start forming from three to one.

At the end of the day, I came home tired but happy. Joe stopped me as I was folding laundry. “I know you need help. I wish I could do it”. Dang. I had to assure him I am fine. I hugged him and just held on. I told him that I am okay and I am getting through.

I can only thank God for the people he has brought into my life. Again and again I marvel at all the support systems he has given me. My husband may need me to direct and care for him, but God has given me so many, many people who love and support us. I am amazed by it.
