He can't answer

Joe came to me tonight with his phone.    Can you look at this he said.   It was a text from his brother.  “Sorry I haven’t FaceTimed are you free Wednesday?”    

I looked through the phone log which I never should do.  It has been one month and eight days since he has had contact with his brother.  

I responded saying that Joe couldn’t answer himself but he could try to be free Wednesday.    What does that mean?    Joe has no life outside of this house and hasn’t in the past three months.   Is he free on Wednesday? Yup, sure, of course ... unless the world ends before then.   Is he capable of responding to the tech way his brother wants?   Umm totally not . But this is all about Joe not me
