Irony

Joe has been unsettled tonight. He thinks my mom was mad at him. He said he had a DVD in his hand but it disappeared. He spent hours looking through the bookcases for the video. He went to Eric’s room and start looking to see if he put it there. Come to find out he is secretly storing DVDs for Eric when he is home from school. He started to rifle through Eric’s stuff before I told him it wasn’t there.

That brought him back to the living room and hunting through the bookcases, flashlight in hand, looking for the lost DVD. He just came to me and told me he remembers the name of the movie he is looking for. It’s called “The Black Hole”. Irony at its best.

We talked that it is not is Eric’s room. It has to be on the shelves and you know it will show up. At the very least, he is calmer and not frantic. At the very least, I will find the movie and put it where he can find it. However, not tonight. I’m too tired.
