I said Yes

I said Yes

I have a hard time asking for help.  I have had a lot of years of not having people I could count on to help me.   Then when I did, I didn’t know what help I needed.    This time I said yes.

Joe has some crazy repetitive behaviors that after some time you need a break.   Mom and I have been taking advantage of the deck.   We can be outside in the peace and just relax a little.   But the weather is changing and we won’t have the deck much longer.

The girls room is the same as it has been since it became “the girls room”.   It is a little sad to know it needs to be repurposed.    I walk in there, give a shudder and walk out.   I am totally overwhelmed by the project.

Mom called this week to get rid of some of the furniture in our family room downstairs.   Then I was able to say yes to Shelly and Emma to come and help Eric and I move the girls furniture and make their room a sitting room.

It’s funny the changes in life.   When we bought this house that room was just a spare dumping place that later became a guest room that later became the girls room.  This house went from more than enough for Joe and I to not a spare inch for anybody.

Life is constantly changing.   But this time I was able to say yes to the help.
