What do you see?

It’s hard being in the day to day and just making sure he is comfortable. But at times I wonder what do you see? How does he appear to you? I know there are many challenges. First we are going through the decline of early Alzheimer’s. Next we are going through it during a global pandemic. I want to insert a sarcastic comment here but I have none.

Through the pandemic, mom has kept him feeling safe and keeping him emotionally secure as possible.

Today I sat with friends. I asked what they saw that I am not aware of. I need them to tell me what they see. I am living this every day. They have the bleacher seats an a broader view than I have. Their perspective is important.

When one of mine was in Middle School the principal in their weekly column wrote how the view from the field and the view from the stands are so very different. I am on the field. It helps to know what those in the stands see.
