It all worked out
Once again, it all worked out. And once again, I know God was waiting for the right time. For over nine months I have been asking Elder Services if there was anyone available to stay with Joe. Due to the pandemic there is a shortage of home care providers. I worried about my mom. I worried about going back to working nights.
Last week I received a call. They have someone who is not only available but available on Monday nights. She can come from 5pm to 9pm. I said yes but then I worry. What will we be like? Does she like crazy movies, horror, and every genre there is?
This morning Joe was pissed off at me. He was pissed my mom would be here when I got home. He was pissed I was away so much yesterday. He was pissed I was away so much. I worried about how this afternoon would play out.
Turns out she loves all the movies and is in awe of the collection. They watched Dune together. She read the book awhile ago and hasn’t seen the movie in a long time. She looks forward to watching more. She was upset with herself that she forget to change before she came and was wearing a Game of Thrones shirt. Absolutely no worries. She is a keeper.
