Build Time

It is five days until the Prayer Garden build time.   Yesterday we should have taken 23 teens and boarded a plan to Seattle.    Instead we are five days from the biggest project I have ever embarked on.   

In five days 23 of us will undertake the massive project of building the prayer garden for our Parish.   We have had endless meetings about prayer time, food, rec night, culture night, hand sanitizer, bathroom cleaning etc etc etc.   We have tried to find any point of transmission of COVID and squash it so we can safely build this garden.  

Please Jesus, help us build this prayer garden safely.   Please don’t let anyone get hurt seriously during its build.   Please let the humidity cool down so we aren’t as scared of our teens safety.   Please let us have fun and grow as a team as we build this garden.   Please let us grow as a parish as we build this garden.   Please let the parish see what we are trying to do and pray for us during this week.   In your name.   Amen
