The joy of losing

The joy of losing

Tonight I once again showed up for my kids as they played volleyball. Something that weighed heavily on me was when one of them called me their lucky charm. I know I don’t have any such ability. I showed up to move our kids and win or lose show them
I was in their corner.

I have learned it would be helpful if understood the rules and the score tracking. Tonight the 12 year old sister of two players gave me enough information to follow the game. What I loved more than anything from them was their support of each other. Game went sideways but they never stopped supporting each other, laughing with each other and cheering their team on. They are a life lesson to be lived.
