Have you ever started a day and just not been sure of what you are supposed to do? This was me this morning. It happens at times, when I get lost in running for the here and now, and am not sure how to tackle what is coming at us.
In the morning at church Father calls us the Trinity! Jackie, Shelly and I talking about life and our tasks for the day. This morning our talking helped me focus in on the immediate and the long term and how to start to proceed.
It only took two hours until that was totally derailed. This is what I love about this job but also get overwhelmed by. Staff meeting took a turn and we focused on something very important but not in my sight line. We started to strategize help and solutions.
This led to an impromptu, “How is the garden” which led to and interview with a newspaper. See! How could anyone see this coming. Said interview was awesome but time consuming. Impromptu project being worked on stopped in it’s tracks.
At the end of the day, I look back and see so many good things, so many positives. However, the list of to dos generate in “the Trinity” meeting didn’t get Ta’ done.
